Death Of Sr. Mary Fitzgerald, Presentation Convent, Thurles

deathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death today, 11th June 2016, of Sr. Mary Fitzgerald, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Skibbereen, Co. Cork

Sr. Mary (Presentation Convent, Thurles) sadly passed away while in the loving care of the Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Co. Tipperary. Her passing is most deeply regretted by her Presentation Community and Congregation; her nieces; nephews; nieces-in-law; nephews-in-law; grandnieces; grandnephews; relatives; friends and past pupils.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Sr. Mary will repose in the Convent Chapel, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on tomorrow Sunday from 3.00pm with prayers at 5.30pm, followed by removal a short distance to the Cathedral of the Assumption.

Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 11.00am, with burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

DeathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Wednesday 15th June 2016, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) Carew (née Hayes), Shravaralla, Clonoulty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Leigh, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Carew passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Clare’s Ward, St. Patrick’s Hospital, Cashel, deeply regretted by her loving nephew Eamon Delaney, sisters-in-law Alice and Mary, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Carew will repose at Hayes’ Funeral Chapel, Clonoulty, on tomorrow, Thursday from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to St. John the Baptist Church, Clonoulty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Requiem Mass will be held on Friday at 11.30am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the Old Cemetery, Clonoulty.

DeathIt is with a great personal sadness I learned of the death today, Thursday 30th June 2016, of Mr Cornelius (Con) Ryan, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork and formerly of Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Ryan (ex Dairygold), passed away unexpectedly, at his home in ‘Glencarrig’, Georges Street, Mitchelstown, early this morning.

The passing of Mr Ryan is most deeply regretted by his wife Bernadette (nee O’Donoghue); daughters Sineád (Lahique) and Martina; son Fergal; grandchildren Rana, Yasmin, Adam, Devin, Eoin, Eve, Sophie, Blake, Julie, Lucas and Stella; his sons-in-law Khalid and Michael (McLoughlin); daughter-in-law Róisín, brothers Gerald and John; sisters Mary (Egan) and Eileen (Croke); brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; other relatives; neighbours, and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, on Saturday (2nd July) next, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, followed by removal to the local Parish Church.

Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday at 11.30am, with burial immediately afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery.

With-sincere-sympathyIt is with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 2nd July 2016, of Mr Bartholomew (Batt) Kennedy, Liseroon, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Kennedy passed away peacefully while in the loving care of his family and his death is most deeply regretted by his loving mother; brothers; sisters; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; uncles; aunt; nephews; nieces; relatives and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Kennedy will be removed on Monday morning to St. Laurence O’Toole Church, The Ragg, Thurles, to arrive at 11.00am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.
Burial will take place immediately afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Inch.

Death Of Eileen Noonan, Thurles, Tipperary

DeathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 23rd July 2016, of Mrs Eileen Noonan (née Condon), Cloughmartin, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Beloved wife of Maurice (Mossie), Mrs Noonan passed away peacefully at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin. Her passing is deeply regretted by her loving husband; daughters Maryese and Orla; parents John and Nora Condon; brother David; sisters Brid and Mariea; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; many relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Noonan will repose at her home tomorrow Monday 25th from 5.00pm until 8.00pm, to arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles, on Tuesday 26th at 12.15pm.

Requiem Mass will be held at 1.00pm on Tuesday next, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

Note: House private Tuesday morning please. Donations if desired to Suir Haven, Thurles.

Death Of Patrick Fanning, Borrisoleigh, Thurles

deathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Sunday 24th July 2016 of Mr Patrick (Paddy) Fanning, No.11, St. Brigid’s Villas, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Turtulla, Thurles and Acton, London.

Mr Fanning passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of the Hospital of The Assumption, Thurles, and surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Brigid; his sons Brian and Kieran; their partners Laurie and Sharon; his granddaughters Amy and Katie; his brothers Liam, John and Philip; his sisters Bernie and Maureen; sisters-in-law; brother-in-law; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Fanning will repose at Stapleton’s Funeral Home, Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary on Monday 25th July from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Removal will take place on Tuesday morning, to arrive at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, for funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh.

Death Of Joe Moloney, Childers Park, Thurles

deathIt is with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 29th July 2016, of Mr Joe Moloney, No. 4, Childers Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his daughter Yvonne, his parents Anthony and Matilda and his brothers John, Billy and Sammy; the passing of Mr Moloney is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Bridget; son Anthony; son-in-law; daughter-in-law Carmel; three grandchildren; brothers; sisters, brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Moloney will repose at his residence on Sunday evening (31st July), from 4.00pm to 8.00pm.

Removal will take place on Monday morning (1st August), to arrive at Bohernanave Church at 9.15am for funeral Mass at 10.00am. Burial immediately following Mass in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles.

Note: No flowers or Mass cards please, however donations if desired to North Tipperary Hospice and Homecare.

deathIt is with sadness we learned of the death on Saturday, 30th July 2016, of Mr Billy Baker, Ballinure, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The passing of Mr Baker, while in the loving care of Willowbrook Lodge Nursing Home, is most deeply regretted by his cousins; relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Baker reposed at Lonergans Funeral Home, Cashel, today Monday August 1st at 6.00pm and his removal took place at 7.00pm to Moyglass Church.

His funeral Mass will be held on tomorrow, Tuesday at 11.30am, with burial taking place immediately afterwards in Ballinure Cemetery, Ballinure, Thurles.
