Death Of Joe O’Regan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It is with the greatest personal sadness and deepest regret, that I learned of the death today, Wednesday 3rd February 2021, of Mr Joe O’Regan, Monakeeba and formerly Bohernanave, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

A man of the highest integrity and envied organisational ability with regard to his work within the Thurles community; Mr O’Regan sadly passed away, following a long term illness, most bravely borne.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Nancy, brother Tim, sister Mary and grand-daughter Amy; Mr O’Regan passed away peacefully, while under the care of staff of the Renal and Cardiac Units in University Hospital Waterford, University Hospital Limerick and the Dialysis Unit Kilkenny.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his totally devoted wife Julie, loving sons Jim, Joe and Paul, loving daughters Angela, Anne-Marie and Catherine, grandchildren Mark, Alexa, Jaidon, Jamie, Emily, Ava, Clara, Katie and Sophie, daughters in law Stephanie, sons in law Pakie and Declan, brothers Paddy, Paul, Gerard and John, sister Catherine, mother-in-law Winnie, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours, the entire Thurles town community and his many close friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The funeral cortège bearing the earthly remains of Mr O’Regan will leave his place of residence on Saturday morning next, February 6th, at 10.15am, to be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, at 10:30am, to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr O’Regan, but are unable to do so, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
