It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Wednesday 15th June 2016, of Mrs Josephine (Josie) Carew (née Hayes), Shravaralla, Clonoulty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Leigh, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Carew passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Clare’s Ward, St. Patrick’s Hospital, Cashel, deeply regretted by her loving nephew Eamon Delaney, sisters-in-law Alice and Mary, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Carew will repose at Hayes’ Funeral Chapel, Clonoulty, on tomorrow, Thursday from 5.30pm with removal at 7.30pm to St. John the Baptist Church, Clonoulty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Requiem Mass will be held on Friday at 11.30am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the Old Cemetery, Clonoulty.
